Ordering online from UK (to Canada). Will I be charged VAT + Canadian customs and duties?

I'm ordering a pair of shoes from the UK. How much is VAT (percentage)? And will I be charged Canadian customs and duties on TOP of that amount?

You won't be charged British taxes.



You pay Canadian taxes (provincial sales tax), plus perhaps duty, when importing goods.
