First time doing taxes, how much do i get back?

I'm 18 years old, never filed for income taxes before. I was wondering the estimate amount i will get back. I have a job but i have not worked there a year yet. Last year i made $2,222.62 off a summer job. I am attending college in september. I live in Canada

You'll get back all you paid in, which is likely zero.

Look at the T4 slip that was provided to you by the employer. Assuming that this is your only source of income, you would get back the combined amounts in boxes 16 and 22. If nothing is showing there, you aren't entitled to a refund.

How much you "get back" depends on how much you paid in. If you paid nothing in, you get nothing back.
